2019 is a year for the biggest announcement from these corporate tech giants: AMAZON, MICROSOFT, and GOOGLE. First, we have Amazon Alexa devices and then Microsoft upcoming Surface devices. Now, we have Google who is not backing down by any means. Google has revealed its new upcoming “Pixel buds 2” along with Nest Wi-FI, Nest Mini, Pixel 4 & 4XL, and Pixelbook Go.
Google has revealed its Pixel buds 2 for 2020. It has an impressive feat that can compete for head-on with very top-line earbuds available in the market.
Look and Feel
Unlike the original Pixel Buds, The new Pixel Buds 2 now comes with a cordless design, which makes it more appealing like Apple, Samsung, and Sony. The new Google’s buds will be available in four different colors: “Clearly white,” “Oh so orange,” “Quite mint,” and “Almost black,” with all having Google’s “G” logo on the front. It also comes with the new design that secures grip to make it stay plugged-in even when you are exercising.
Hand-free Access to Google Assistant
Although the previous-gen Pixel Buds do have already Google Assistant within just a tap-of-button but this time, the new “Pixel Buds 2” offers “Hand-free access to Google Assistant” through voice-commands such as: “Hey Google”, “What’s up, Google”, to ask your reminders, check calendar, play music, and many more.
Google has promised rich bass and clear highs for sound quality. It will respond to your surrounding sound and will automatically raise and lower the volume depending on the environment, such as reducing music volume when you enter a quiet room.
Pixel Buds 2 offers 5 hours of battery life on a single charge and comes with a wireless charging case that provides extra charges totaling to 24 hours of battery life. It will be available in 2020 and will cost $179.
